This is our hometown newspaper we knew as the Sherman Democrat, in 1996 it was merged with the Denison Herald. The online version is updated daily, except Saturday when there is no publication, and is ready for viewing between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM depending on the volume of news on a given day.
This fairly new and very unique club/restaurant is partly owned by SHS Class of '60 graduate Buddy Gray and proved to be a hit for the "Meet and Greet" portion of our "Happy Days Again" reunion. Other get-togethers may be held there in the future.
Gary Park, our class member, is responsible for organizing our area's branch of the national Military Vehicle Preservation Association which pays tribute to our military service members and their military vehicles.
Our classmate and military aficionado, Gary Park, assisted in the forming of the local chapter of this national organization.

This is a link to the band that provided the great 50's and 60's music at our "Happy Days" reunion. If you need further information on them or would like to order their latest CD "Still Cruisin'," e-mail David Hall at deh63shs@yahoo.com. A new fun place they often play is Weekend's Cafe on Lake Ray Hubbard in Rowlett, let us know if you need more information on Weekend's Cafe or when we will have another get-together there. David also will have current information on Al Nelson, another 50's and 60's entertainer that performed at our twenty-five year reunion and also at some of our Dallas area get-togethers.

We meet for dinner, visiting with friends, and enjoy listening to the music of our "good old days". Please let us know if you would like to be included the next time we get together in Irving. Check out www.lookalike.com and look under cavalcade of stars to see a picture of Al performing as Roy Orbison.
